Cold pressed from freshly cut, hand-harvested leaves, not reconstituted from powder. It is unscented and alcohol free, with no added fragrance and no artificial color, which is why it looks pale gold rather than bright green. Aloe is naturally close to clear, so a bright green gel has had color added to it.
It absorbs quickly and leaves no sticky residue. Apply it as it comes for daily moisture, or mix it: the label carries eight recipes, including an aloe shampoo, a scalp mask, a shave base, a cooling mist and an after-sun compress. Several of them pair it with our Castile Soap, one to clean and one to put the moisture back.
